Seibukan shorin Ryu is style of Karate from Okinawa developed by Master Zenryo Shimabukuro, student of the great Master Chofu Kyan. It is neither a hard or soft style and requires power and preceision as well as speed and agility.

Repetition of Basics and Kata are the foundation of training in Seibukan Shorin Ryu. Dedicated practice of Seibukan karate-Do is path of self-discovery and self-improvement.

Hanshi Zenpo Shimabukuro Was born Chatan Okinawa Japan, and have lived in Okinawa most of his life. He is the Head Instructor of Shorin Ryu Seibukan Karatedo, President of the IOSSKA, International Okinawa Shorin Ryu Seibukan Karate Association, President of the Okinawa Ken Karate Do Rengoki, Hanshi Zenpo Shimabukuro is 10th Dan, Hanshi Zenpo Shimabukuro have been a practitioner of karate for over sixty years.  Seibukan Karate is practiced in over ten countries in the world with hundreds of dojos. Master Zenryo Shimabukuro was the founder of Seibukan Shorin Ryu Karate a student of Master Chotoku Kyan, was his main teacher.
